This exceptional creation blends tradition with cutting-edge innovation, enabling memories to be preserved for future generations, embedded in the very essence of the jewelry. Inspired by the sound of Atlantic Ocean waves, the ring reflects the vision of Creative Director Claire Choisne, who describes it as an homage to her childhood spent by the sea. With groundbreaking technology to store audio recordings, the ring transcends jewelry, becoming a memory capsule designed to endure for billions of years.

Advanced 5D Memory Technology

The "Quatre 5D Memory" ring is crafted using 5D memory technology, developed in collaboration with scientists from the University of Southampton. This innovation allows vast amounts of data to be engraved onto a glass material no larger than the ring itself.

At the heart of the design lies Glassomer®, a material chosen for its transparency, durability, and exceptional optical properties, making it ideal for preserving data.

To create the audio component embedded in the ring, Boucheron partnered with IRCAM, the French Institute for Acoustic/Music Research. The recorded composition evokes the soothing sounds of ocean waves, establishing a deep emotional connection to cherished memories.
