Captured by legendary photographer Steven Meisel, the campaign is set in a retro-styled brasserie. The cinematic black-and-white images present a dramatic portrayal of Miley in a series of striking looks.
Named Black Sicily, the campaign epitomizes sophistication and style. Styled by Karl Templer, Miley shines in sharply tailored jackets, feather-adorned dresses, and bow-accented blouses. One of the standout pieces is a flowing dress that Cyrus dons in the campaign, while elegant masks and gloves add a mysterious and sensual touch to the collection.
This project marks Miley Cyrus’s return to the fashion spotlight after previously starring in Dolce & Gabbana’s sunglasses campaign. In this campaign, she showcases her tattoos while wearing a feathered design, further highlighting her unique style and personality.
For the perfect hairstyle, Guido Palau created a slicked-back look, while makeup artist Pat McGrath added glamour with her signature makeup touch.
The campaign’s artistic direction was led by Fabien Baron of Baron&Baron, combining elegance and sensuality to perfectly convey the spirit of the Dolce & Gabbana brand for the Fall/Winter 2024 season.
