Cosy British countryside meets ambitious explorers…
Napapijri's new capsule collection is inspired by the archives of London department store Liberty, using their classic designs to breathe new life into their famous silhouettes. Inspired by the concept of exploration and travel, the collection turns to the extensive archive of Liberty textiles, using the Magnified Wildflowers print for its women's offering, and the Tartan pattern for the men's. The centrepiece of the collection is undoubtedly the Northfarer Anorak, presented in new iterations of Liberty material, along with bucket hats, hoodies, t-shirts and travel accessories.
Combining functional wardrobe with the warmth of the British countryside, this collection aims to celebrate travellers who are "moved by self-expression and the pursuit of creativity", according to the brand's official announcement. Drawing on the British countryside setting for their campaign, Napapijri teamed up with London-based photographer, AZ Captures along with songwriters Kwaku and Murray Matravers.
In collaboration with London-based photographer Louis Beaver and director Louis Lincoln, the campaign offers us an artistic representation of an ordinary day in the British countryside. Finally, we can say that the Napapijri collection is already available for purchase through the brand's official website.
