Bellatrix, the latest lighting creation from Catellani & Smith, shines brilliantly like the star it’s named after from the Orion constellation.
Bellatrix is a wall lamp with a diameter of 120 cm, available with two different patterns on its irregularly shaped disc, meticulously handcrafted with utmost attention to detail using an exclusive process by Catellani & Smith, and then coated with gold leaf, also applied by hand.
This new lighting creation is available in two versions: one featuring a pattern of hand-drawn radial lines, and the other showcasing a swirling design.
The disc of the Bellatrix model is illuminated by 9 LED panels, integrated into a brass rod with a diameter of 10 mm, supported by a flexible brass arm that allows the light to be directed as desired. The play of light on the irregular gold-leafed surface, combined with the indirect lighting effect typical of Catellani & Smith lamps, ensures a comfortable illumination, making this lamp ideal for creating an atmosphere filled with charm.
