Cameo is made from precisely designed parts intended for independent assembly. Its construction uses the same materials as full-sized Rolls-Royce cars, providing the owner with a tactile experience of assembling their own Rolls-Royce model. The sculpture's body consists of two segments – one of solid oak and the other of polished aluminum – together mimicking the iconic two-tone finish of Rolls-Royce vehicles.

As a symbolic part of the assembly, the oak body magnetically connects with the aluminum chassis, echoing the significant moment in Rolls-Royce production known as the "marriage", where the car body is mounted onto the drivetrain.
