New international interior design trends increasingly feature mirrored surfaces, not only in living rooms but also in kitchens...
Abimis, a company renowned for its high-quality stainless steel kitchens, has now incorporated mirrors into its offerings. This type of finish adds elegance and dynamism to spaces, reflecting light and creating the illusion of a larger, brighter room.
The mirror-finish kitchens are available across all Abimis lines, including Ego Atelier and Àtria. The finish is achieved by hand-polishing the steel without the use of chemicals, preserving the material’s resistance to wear and its ease of maintenance. This polished finish adds a refined shine and unique aesthetic without compromising quality or durability.
In the Ego line, inspired by the 1950s aesthetic, rounded-edge doors with reflective options emphasize the collection’s distinctive style. This kitchen, with its monolithic appearance, feels like a gleaming sculptural piece within the home. Retro handles, a hallmark of the Ego line, come in various shades, including brass and tone-on-tone finishes.
On the other hand, the Atelier line, inspired by professional kitchen designs, maintains square and clean lines softened by the mirror finish. The kitchen elements can be paired with Scotch Brite or hand-polished countertops, depending on the customer’s preference. Even the compact Àtria kitchen line perfectly suits this type of finish, offering a striking contrast between shiny doors and slim legs available in all RAL colors.
This type of finish is not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly practical, allowing for the creation of a brighter and more dynamic space through the play of reflections and perspectives. However, Abimis recommends this finish exclusively for indoor kitchens.
