The BOSCO kitchen, designed by Makio Hasuike & Co. for Rastelli, returns to Eurocucina 2024 as the main protagonist...
The atmosphere of forest freshness remains even in the new 2024 composition, which was officially presented in 2022 at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. This is the result of a deep study of the essence of nature and its positive impact on human well-being.
The design of this kitchen is influenced by Japanese inspiration, rooted in the ideogram Shinrin-yoku (literally "forest bathing"), transforming it into a tranquil and harmonious space within the home. The Phantastic cabinet retains the iconic eucalyptus finishes from the previous composition. Equipped with columns for a refrigerator, an oven column, and a modern open module with two drawers, Phantastic combines functionality and awareness. The top and backsplash of the open cabinet are made of Corian® Silver Gray, adding homogeneity, thickness, and resistance typical for work areas.
The architecture that sets BOSCO apart includes full horizontal volume, full vertical volume, and a vertical slatted screen, creating a harmonious fusion between form and function. Traditional bases, columns with retractable doors, and open shelves with sliding panels are carefully designed to enhance the clean aesthetic of the kitchen.
Like any tree, the kitchen by Makio Hasuike & Co. for Rastelli also holds a secret: its ability to connect people with nature through the ingredients used in food preparation. Spaces dedicated to herbs, roots, and plants, carefully hidden behind open shelves, transform the kitchen into a communal laboratory.
The induction cooktop and sink with a retractable faucet confirm that the BOSCO kitchen is designed to meet the practical and aesthetic needs of its users. The top made of Corian® Silver Gray and solid wood handles with eucalyptus veneer complete the modern and natural look of the composition.
Combining solidity and lightness, light and shadow, BOSCO brings a new perspective on how to live in harmony with nature and others.
