Goodman, the modular seating system designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, is receiving a fantastic refresh this year...
This system enriches its offering with new curved and inclined elements, and the updated design is inspired by the ever-changing needs and tastes of individuals. Elegant and sophisticated, with compact volumes and refined stitching details, Goodman continues its evolutionary journey. With a clear influence from the seventies, the system expresses its versatility and a high degree of modularity by adding new inclined and curved modules to the existing linear and rounded elements - the latter were introduced in 2023.
The new elements feature an armrest lower than the backrest, characterized by unprecedented, more pronounced angles designed to create compositions with angles of 30, 75, and 90 degrees. Transitioning from the original rhythmic rectangular geometry, Goodman moves to a new, unexpected curved form that provides pronounced aesthetics not only to individual elements but also to configurations created in combination with linear modules.
Creativity and materiality, aesthetics and functionality seamlessly blend in this seating system based on a renewed concept, capable of harmoniously fitting into spaces and interiors with very different characters. It creates traditional or dynamic compositions, offering welcoming solutions for both residential and hospitality environments.
Raised from the ground with bronze or polished chrome metal legs, Goodman stands out for the softness and comfort of its one-piece seats. Pocket springs within the upholstery, combined with layers of polyurethane of different densities, help define volumes and provide comprehensive comfort.
The brand Minotti's typical meticulous attention to detail is evident in the aesthetics and exceptional quality of tone-on-tone stitches that characterize the cushions, making these seats unique with a sophisticated personality.
