Comedian and talk show host Ellen Degeneres, and her wife, Portia de Rossi, have dropped $39.88 million for ‘the best house in LA’.
The property is the Brody House, built in 1949 and designed by A. Quincy Jones. The home sports over 13,500 square feet of living space, and sits on 2.25 acres of land, right next door to the Playboy Mansion.
Brody House is located in the Holmby Hills – an affluent neighborhood bordering Beverly Hills. The residence features nine bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a pool, tennis court and guest house. DeGeneres, age 55, is one of the most wealthy women in Hollywood. She has won 13 Emmy awards in her storied career.
