As he returns to television with The Michael J. Fox Show on NBC, actor Michael J. Fox also decided it was time for change in the Manhattan apartment he shares with his wife, actor Tracy Pollan, and their four children in an Upper East Side building.
It’s been 15 years since the home was decorated. As Pollan told Arch Digest: “Our tastes changed, but we held off redecorating—it seemed like a big undertaking,” with Fox adding “This place has raised four kids. We beat the hell out of it.”
To remodel the home, Fox and Pollan turned to Mariette Himes Gomez and her daughter, Brooke, the team behind the Manhattan interior design firm Gomez Associates. Fox says he and his wife knew exactly what they wanted: “a younger-style apartment than we had when we were younger.”
With sleek, subtle refinements, the home exudes continuity and familiarity, it’s a place where people actually live. We love the look of the comfortable elegance and relaxing colors.
