The works of this famous fashion designer are popular among many divas...
However, it is now time to take a look at his wardrobe and his home. Tommy Hilfiger and his beautiful wife, Dee, have opened the doors of their new home, which is located in Florida and allowed us to peek inside.
He named Miami the capital of the Bikini and said they moved here because of the weather, Latino influence, art and palm trees, but the most important is the element of fun. Interior designer from Los Angeles, Martyn Lawrence Bullard was hired by the powerful couple to make their new home perfect according to their specific taste, characteristic for the love they have for artwork. They have a variety of works of Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Damien Hirst and other artists in their valuable collection.
Their home has a surface area of approximately 1.500m2, which has been specially renovated to meet their specific tastes and for all of the art that they have could be perfectly exposed. Dee said that they primarily wanted to present their works of art that have large proportions. Inspired by the hot rhythms of Miami, this property contains multiple shades of vibrant colors. Every inch of this villa is filled with works of art, pieces of furniture, chic and glamorous materials.
The main element of the spacious living room is a well-known work of art, created in cooperation Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, which set chromatic tone throughout the room. It is perfectly accompanied by exclusive Kyle Bunting carpet designed by Bullard. The furniture is lively and there are Vladimir Kagan sofas, vintage cocktail tables and Willy Rizzo decorative tables. Glamour and style are presented in the best way in their master bedroom. It is decorated with a series of Marilyn Monroe photos that are the work of Bert Stern, and there is a large poster of Paul Evans, Mongolian wool carpets and chic covers on the bed. Even the ceiling is glamorously decorated with precious reflective wallpaper which is the work of Astek Wallcovering brand.
Details that make this home perfect are the back facade of the villa and the pool. Closet of this American designer is filled with neatly stacked clothing and accessories, while his office is again dominated by artwork, this time Jean Dubuffet. Arts can even be found in the bathroom, where the Andy Warhol's work that represents Mick Jagger is graciously exhibited!
