This season, Roche Bobois writes a new chapter in a story that year after year reveals a contemporary vision of French artistic living, presenting carefully selected, balanced designs alongside reinterpretations of iconic collections with strong personality.
Building on his highly creative collaboration with the brand and inspired by the 1970s, Sacha Lakic designed Love – a sofa in the shape of a large comma – as a contemporary homage to the era of peace and love.
At the same time, adjustable sofas are becoming increasingly prevalent, such as the Lagoon by Philippe Bouix, with an adjustable backrest, and Intemporel by Maurizio Manzoni, with an adjustable seat and backrest. Textured fabrics are trending, and the elegant and comfortable bouclé remains a favorite choice.
The Bamboo Mood collection, designed by French-Chinese artist Jiang Qiong Er, presents a modern interpretation of a traditional Chinese salon. Graceful lines and the soothing harmony of celadon and coral colors – iconic in Asian decorative arts – together evoke a state of meditative bliss.
This season also marks the first collaboration with designer Patrick Norguet. The brand chose this internationally renowned French designer for his talent in establishing a dialogue between materials and his ability to channel the craftsmanship savoir-faire of his team. With the Elanta collection, Patrick Norguet has created a timeless set that elevates clean lines with subtle, yet contemporary wooden details.
Continuing the quest for artisanal excellence in production techniques, Roche Bobois has refreshed two of its iconic dining tables. The Aqua table by Fabrice Berrux, whose solid marble base mimics a drop of water, is now paired with a wooden top that adds a soft, organic touch.
Pulp, originally made with a wooden or lacquered finish and designed by Eugeni Quitllet, now features a new version entirely carved from beautiful matte Carrara marble, creating an exceptionally elegant, sculptural effect.
