Cristiano Ronaldo certainly doesn't shy away from indulging in decadent purchases, as evident from his car collection, which he has just expanded with a $500,000 Ferrari Purosangue...
The football superstar, who is building his career in Saudi Arabia, delighted his 617 million Instagram followers by introducing his latest addition to an already luxurious fleet. Ronaldo, dressed in a Gucci tracksuit, can be seen standing next to his dark blue Purosangue model in a photo shared with his fans. The Ferrari, equipped with a V12 engine and four doors, has a starting price of around $400,000; however, the final price can easily surpass half a million dollars with even the most basic add-ons.
While the Purosangue is an expensive car, it is far from the most expensive vehicle in Ronaldo's extensive car portfolio. The most expensive car owned by the 38-year-old is a limited edition Bugatti hypercar. Named Centodieci, the captivating hypercar based on the Chiron model is limited to just ten units, each priced at a staggering $8.88 million. Ronaldo has been quite vocal about his love for the French manufacturer and has admitted multiple times that Bugatti is his favorite carmaker. In addition to the Centodieci model, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's collection includes a regular Chiron, purchased in 2017, and a Veyron 16.4 Grand Sports.
Ronaldo is known for his love of ultra-luxurious and rare cars, with the value of his collection estimated at over $22 million. This includes a Mercedes G-Wagon Brabus worth over $760,000, gifted to him by his girlfriend, and a matte black Lamborghini Aventador. He also owns a Ferrari F12 TDF, and in 2020, he added a Rolls-Royce Cullinan to his collection. The Chevrolet Camaro, worth $45,000, might be Ronaldo's most affordable car, considering his current net worth is estimated at around $500 million.
The Purosangue is Ferrari's first-ever production vehicle with four seats in the cabin and a high driving position similar to an SUV. Designed to compete with the Porsche Cayenne, Lamborghini Urus, and Aston Martin DBX, the Purosangue is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine capable of producing 715 horsepower. According to Ferrari, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.3 seconds and achieve a top speed of 310 kilometers per hour.
