His magnificent creation is a chocolate egg, which weights 50 kilograms, entirely made from milk chocolate and decorated with New York City skyline. This interesting egg is now exhibited in his DUMBO store. This chocolate works master needed 10 days to create this delicious masterpiece, which is 80 cm tall and needs to be kept in a space with 20 degrees Celsius.
As he says, the idea for creating this giant egg came to him when the people from Big Egg Hunt team asked him if he wanted to participate in the renewed annual egg hunt. According to his words, he had to accept the offer, because he never refuses a new challenge.
This giant egg is a part of Faberge Big Egg Hunt event, which takes place in the whole New York City. This event has a charitable character. During the manifestation, different eggs will be presented and they are works of different artists. 200 eggs will be presented during this event, which will after the event is finished, be sold in a charity auction.
Until now, the most expensive egg was sold for 11.720 dollars in 2012, and it was created by William Curley. It seems that this gentleman now has a serious competitor.
