The affluent community in Dubai evidently seeks opulence in all aspects of life, even childbirth. The maternity ward apartment at HMS Mirdif Hospital, opened in December 2021, exemplifies this lavish approach. This spacious suite encompasses several rooms beyond the new mother's bedroom, including a luxurious living area with comfortable sofas, a large central table, and a dining table for six. Priced at $6,000 per night, the apartment is a departure from typical hospital rooms and can rival luxurious hotel accommodations.
Spanning over 200 square meters, the opulent details include hanging lights in the living room, a spacious bathroom with a separate shower cabin, a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator and coffee machine, and an enormous walk-in closet reminiscent of an apartment in the renowned Burj Khalifa hotel.
The only clinical feature is the patient's bed. "The Apartment" serves as a splendid gathering place for the family welcoming the newest member born in luxury. The adjacent room features a royal crib next to the mother's bed, an additional room with a queen-size bed for the father, and all the conveniences and amenities of a hotel room.
There is also a small room with a desk that can double as an office, complete with a meeting area. The interior is sumptuous, adorned with marble details, ambient lighting, and accents that create a pleasant atmosphere.
