World’s Most Expensive Cigar Humidor: El Septimo Fabergé Egg

More valuable than many works of art, this extraordinary humidor will set you back a staggering $25 million—and it includes 37,000 hours of craftsmanship and 900 carats of diamonds.

Luxury in its most extreme and almost surreal form—that’s what defines the El Septimo Fabergé Egg Cigar Humidor, the most expensive and exotic humidor ever created. Valued at a breathtaking $25 million, this astonishing object is far more than a cigar accessory—it's a symbol of opulence, artistry, and technical brilliance. Unveiled in celebration of El Septimo’s 20th anniversary at the prestigious PCA Convention & Trade Show in New Orleans, it serves as both a tribute to history and a vision for the future of luxury.

Inspired by the golden age of Fabergé eggs, a team of 48 master artisans from five countries spent three years and 37,000 hours crafting three one-of-a-kind creations: the Mother Humidor, the Emperor Collection, and a model dedicated to the legendary Mesopotamian king Ashurbanipal. Each is forged from solid 18-karat gold, weighing over 54 kilograms and adorned with more than 1,500 carats of gemstones—including 900 carats of VVS-grade African diamonds and an additional 560 carats of emeralds, rubies, and sapphires.

“Our goal wasn’t just to make a luxury item,” said El Septimo founder and CEO Zaya Younan. “We set out to create an icon of artistic excellence and timeless vision. If we dedicate this much to a humidor, imagine the passion that goes into crafting every El Septimo cigar.”

Every detail of these exotic masterpieces showcases unmatched craftsmanship: goldsmithing of microscopic precision, a design narrative inspired by Mesopotamian royalty and Imperial Russian artistry, and the potential for the humidor to serve as a show-stopping centerpiece in a luxury interior—not merely a functional storage piece.

El Septimo has already earned acclaim for its premium cigars, renowned for their sophistication, and for its wines from the Bordeaux region of France—positioning this humidor collection as the pinnacle of art de vivre.
