After a successful debut in March 2023 at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, where three units were sold, Turkish boat manufacturer Vicem Yachts proudly presents the first images of the new Vicem Tuna Masters 37 (TM37) as it cruises through the crystal-blue waters of Puerto Rico.
This 37-foot boat, with a centre console (CC) fiberglass hull, is designed as the introductory model of a new series of sport-fishing and cruising boats. Vicem TM37 hull #1 is powered by triple 350-horsepower Mercury engines, an upgrade from the standard package with two 350 HP engines. "We carefully worked on weight distribution to provide more power options (from 350 HP up to a maximum of 3*450 HP) and speed to our customers," says the Vicem team. Hull #1 reaches a top speed of 55 knots with the power upgrade, while with the standard twin engines, it achieves speeds exceeding 46 knots.
Vicem collaborated with renowned angler and designer Murat Iyriboz, as well as the architects from DLBA Naval Architects in Virginia, to contribute to the design of this new series. "Mr. Iyriboz and DLBA worked closely with our design department to create a serious offshore vessel," says the Vicem Yachts team. "We believe that starting - and ultimately expanding - a 37-foot series provides our customers with the perfect platform for fishing with friends or cruising with family on board - or both. It's the best of both worlds."
The hull design is optimized for comfort and safety in rough sea conditions, providing a stable and spacious platform for clients seeking the perfect combination of a cruising and high-performance sport-fishing boat. What's even more impressive, the series will include Seakeeper gyro stabilization on all models, with a range of over 350 nautical miles.
The Vicem TM37 CC offers accommodations suitable for comfortable cruising, including two berths and a wet head below deck. On the main deck, the cockpit provides an excellent fishing area, along with three rear seats with a mezzanine. Sunbathing space and double-sided club seating in the bow salon nicely complement this layout.
At the helm, three comfortable and secure seats have ergonomic access to three Raymarine screens, well-protected from sea breezes by a glass windshield. The boat also features a carbon roof structure for a lighter and more stable ride. Fishing features include a 50-gallon live baitwell at the stern, Gemlux rod holders, and a side tuna door.
Seven units are currently under construction at Vicem Yachts' facilities in Turkey, with hull #2 set to launch in September 2023.
