LUXURY ESCAPE TO FOUR SEASONS HOTEL BUDAPEST
LUXURY ESCAPE TO
FOUR SEASONS HOTEL BUDAPEST
Finding its place on the old side of the Danube, the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest, with its magnificent Art Nouveau-inspired appearance, reminded us of a fairy-tale castle, with an attractive view of the river and the famous Széchenyi Chain Bridge. Originally built in 1906, when it was the headquarters of Gresham Life Insurance, this hotel still carefully preserves its history, despite the modernization and trends that follow.
Once you stay in this hotel and get to know its surroundings, you will understand why Budapest is called "Paris of the East", and what is inside the hotel will enchant you - like the Preciosa chandelier that descends from the glass ceiling in the hotel lobby, floor mosaics, stained glass, a winding staircase that seems to succeed indefinitely, works by Hungarian artists of the 20th century and other expressive details.
On this occasion, we enjoyed KOLLÁZS - Brasserie and Bar, under the baton of Executive Chef Árpád Győrffy, who delighted us with the best tasting menu. We were also enchanted by the delicacies of the MÚZSA Bar, which is characterized by the golden era of Budapest, which captivated us with its decoration. We were served an exciting mix of Asian and Hungarian gastronomy, while we relaxed with craft cocktails, live music and laughter in cheerful company.
Indeed, it is not enough to say that we enjoyed all the senses…
When it comes to other activities, we had a pool at our disposal, after which we planned to enjoy the spa centre. Unfortunately, due to the busy schedule, we did not manage to relax this time, but we left it for the next weekend visit, considering that Budapest is not far from us.
Four Seasons Hotel Budapest also has the option of booking golf and tennis dates, which are a short distance away. We’re sure we won’t miss it next time!
Ready to meet all our needs, this hotel in the heart of Europe has become a place we will always return to, ready for new challenges and adventures, and we are sure that you will enjoy it too.
After two days of pleasure in Budapest, we were preparing for a new adventure to Prague, in front of the hotel we were met by majestic Mr. Phantom…
