What do Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, and Bernard Arnault have in common?
Aside from being the biggest names in the business world and centibillionaires, they are superyacht owners who have chosen a common location to fully enjoy their luxurious vessels. The $500 million megayacht Koru, the $150 million Symphony yacht, and the $59 million motor yacht Wayfinder are all anchored in the waters between Olbia and Porto Cervo in Sardinia.
These three of the world's richest individuals share a penchant for relaxing in the most beautiful locations on their lavish yachts. The Amazon co-founder is worth $207 billion, the LVMH owner is worth $196 billion, and the Microsoft co-founder is the fifth richest person in the world with an astounding wealth of $160 billion. The value of their luxurious vessels totals an astonishing $709 million. This truly makes for a breathtaking sight along the eastern coast of Sardinia.
The magnificent Koru yacht, the largest sailing yacht in the world, stretching 416 feet, is currently anchored near the island of Molara along with its support vessel, Abeona, worth $75 million, which carries toys, tenders, and a helicopter for the owners.
According to Ansa reports, Symphony, the summer home at sea of the Louis Vuitton brand owner, was spotted in Cala di Volpe, Costa Smeralda, on July 13, moving towards Porto Rafael. The Wayfinder yacht was anchored off the coast of Golfo Aranci.
The vessel boasts a helipad that can be used as a pickleball court, a medical room, a retractable gym, and a garage full of water toys. The yacht is listed on Edmiston's offerings, and when sold, Gates will become a centibillionaire without a superyacht. This could be his final farewell to the beautiful Astilleros Armon yacht, although there is no confirmation that the tech magnate is on board.
The Launchpad vessel, belonging to Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg, was also spotted in Taormina, although it sails without a listed destination. The stunning yacht Ahpo, which formerly belonged to Mike Lee-Chin and sold for an incredible $362 million, is also sailing nearby.
