In collaboration with French artist Laurent Grasso, Bvlgari Octo Finissimo redefines horological elegance, entering the realm of art with a vision that doesn't just measure time but interprets it through a metaphysical lens.

This exclusive timepiece, unveiled this autumn, symbolizes the fusion of minimalism, mysticism, and exquisite Italian craftsmanship, offering its wearer not just a fashion accessory, but a true work of art.

A Celestial Inspiration

Immersed in a midnight blue hue that shimmers like the night sky, the Octo Finissimo X Laurent Grasso captures the magic of natural phenomena—from the aurora borealis to solar eclipses. At the center of the dial is a cloud of iridescent colors, inspired by the mesmerizing play of light on microscopic particles and frozen water droplets. Grasso describes the cloud as a symbol of dreams, both fleeting and breathtakingly beautiful, suspended between the heavens and the earth.

Grasso, whose work spans video, sculpture, and installations, explores the invisible and intangible. His cloud, embedded in the dial of this watch, brings a fragment of that universe, transforming the timepiece into a platform for introspection and a connection to the stars. Paired with Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani’s precision horological technology, this masterpiece blurs the lines between reality and illusion.

A Legacy of Elegance and Innovation

Since its launch in 2014, the Octo Finissimo series has redefined standards in horology, becoming synonymous with subtle power and minimalist elegance. Inspired by the architectural treasures of Rome, its octagonal form is a canvas for continuous innovation. With nine world records and numerous international awards, the Octo Finissimo stands as a testament to technical precision and aesthetic brilliance.

A Limited-Edition Masterpiece

Limited to just 200 pieces, this model features a blue PVD-coated titanium case and bracelet, enhanced by unique clouds created through silkscreen printing with metallic pigments. The ultra-thin case, measuring just 5 mm, houses the BVL 138 automatic movement, hand-decorated and equipped with a micro-rotor. With a 60-hour power reserve, it is a true feat of mechanical engineering.

Art on the Wrist

This timepiece is more than a watch; it is an expression of profound artistic vision. Encased in a midnight blue box signed by Laurent Grasso and the house of Bvlgari, the Octo Finissimo X Laurent Grasso becomes a bridge between reality and dreams, allowing its wearer to experience art on their wrist.
