Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot has revealed its latest model from the Spirit of Big Bang Sang Bleu collection, designed in collaboration with renowned Swiss tattoo artist Maxime Plescia-Buchi.
This limited-edition timepiece blends Hublot’s All Black concept with Plescia-Buchi’s signature geometric artistry, resulting in a watch that is as much an artistic masterpiece as it is a technical marvel.
Design and Aesthetics
- The watch features a 42 mm case crafted from polished black coating, adorned with 180 black diamonds.
- Plescia-Buchi’s iconic geometric patterns and sharp lines extend seamlessly from the case to the bezel, creating a three-dimensional design that mirrors his tattoo artistry.
- A smooth black rubber strap completes the monochromatic aesthetic, enhancing the watch’s sleek appearance.
Engineering Excellence
At its core is the HUB4700 automatic skeleton chronograph, an in-house movement operating at a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour with a 50-hour power reserve.
Art Meets Craftsmanship
Described by Plescia-Buchi as an "architectural project," this watch embodies the fusion of geometric aesthetics and refined ergonomics. Julien Tornare, Hublot’s CEO, highlighted the brand’s long-standing creative synergy with Plescia-Buchi, resulting in unique designs that balance precision, artistic expression, and profound symbolism.
Exclusivity and Availability
This model will be produced in a limited series of only 200 pieces, priced at $47,100 USD. It will debut in China before becoming available globally.
The Spirit of Big Bang Sang Bleu All Black Pavé stands as a testament to Hublot’s commitment to pushing boundaries, offering collectors a bold, innovative, and deeply artistic addition to their horological repertoire.
