The collection includes former state limousines of Kuwait and other royal houses, Minerva, Daimler, and Cadillac. All these cars remain part of the collection, are maintained well, and used on special occasions.
The Kuwait Historical, Vintage, and Classic Car Museum is also home to the actual railway car of Sheikh Mubarak Al Sabah, a unique addition to any car museum worldwide. The car dates back to 1929 and was used by Sheikh Mubarak Al Sabah for his travels through Europe and other parts of the world.
The railway car, fitted with custom and personalized items including a prayer room, living room, and bedroom, remains a symbol of luxury travel. As the car completed 300,000 kilometers in 2009, it received a complete makeover to bring back the glory of its time. The museum is situated on the estate of the royal family, offering viewers an up-close look into the world of royal transportation.
